Tuesday before I left, I went to one of our producers' houses to help her with her taxes and email. I was struggling with whether to go or not, she said she'd pay me $100 cash for the afternoon and I wanted to go but I was so worried that if I did, she'd start to see me as an 'assistant'/office worker type and not as an artist.
